COPD sent out a satisfaction survey this past year. This is what you said about us!

  • You like that we are courteous.
  • You like that we understand your situation and are respectful to your needs.
  • You like the action taken to support you and your needs!
  • You tell us you like us because we listen to what you need!
  • You said you like that our staff can sign and can help you.
  • COPD provides many services. This is some of what we did for you!

  • Over 20,000 hours of interpreting were provided to the community!
  • Over 150 persons obtained help getting resources or support with their family!
  • Over 400 persons obtained help with new devices and technology!
  • Over 146 persons obtained help with getting a job!
  • COPD began some New Programs this past year.

  • Youth Services: COPD began a new program with youth at risk.
  • Deaf Blind: COPD began providing more equipment and computer support to DeafBlind persons this year.
  • Financial Literacy Class has helped people with housing problems and financial issues.
  • Computer Class for DeafBlind persons
  • Sign Language Class for employees and community!
  • What else did COPD do in 2007?

  • COPD looped its conference rooms this past year to support our Hard of Hearing consumers.
  • COPD began operating VRI to small businesses to help support your work.
  • COPD has supported the Seniors Citizens in finding housing options.
  • COPD is working with a Captioning group to support better captioning.
  • COPD provides support through its Deaf Ministry for persons in the Catholic Faith.
  • COPD obtained a new van!
  • Angie Carrillo the Vocational Program Coordinator is voted as the employee of the year by her peers. She is awarded this honor at the CCS annual banquet!
  • COPD developed some New Partners this past year who help support our work and we theirs!

  • COPD is thankful for its new program with PEPNet a national program to support youth in transition.
  • Pima County, under Community Development became a partner this year in providing services to our seniors and case management.
  • Northern Arizona University became a new partner this year, supporting our work with technology and devices.
  • This partnership is coordinated through Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
  • Pima Vocational High School was provided support with the youth at risk program.
  • Partners through the years!

    COPD is continually thankful for its partnership through the years with providing support and services to our community. Thank you to our Partners!—Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Pima County, Tucson City, Vocational Rehabilitation, ALOHA and Tucson Hearing Society.
